Colors of Nepal is a philanthropic group that tackles problems in the education sector of Nepal through photography and arts. Founded virtually in early 2012 by likeminded friends to introduce Nepal to the world through lens, the main focus of the project shifted to children’s welfare when it was offered an assignment at a children’s shelter home Community Child Rescue Center (CCRC) the following year. The documentary assignment then culminated into a welfare photography project instead of mere hobby photography. With a revised strategy to support a noble cause, Colors of Nepal embarked to spread awareness about the condition of needy children in rural villages. In uplifting the education infrastructure of rural Nepal, Colors of Nepal sells premium postcards in Nepal and abroad. The proceeds from the sales go directly to fund the four primary programs of Colors of Nepal: Sponsorship, Renovation, Stationery supplies and teacher training. Our programs in the past have dealt with improving the welfare of the students in Dhadkharka and have garnered wide acknowledgement and appraisal. The aim is not to bring about a revolutionary change overnight or change the world, but indeed to make small but crucial contributions to better the lives of unfortunate few.

Colors of Nepal innovatively promotes the educational status of underprivileged children through photography and arts.”
